Chinesejadeno1 Sale-Chinese Medicine Professional Practitioners Acupressure "Needles" Roller
Acupressure and acupuncture are two closely related therapies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involve stimulating specific points on the body to promote healing and alleviate symptoms. Acupressure uses finger pressure, while acupuncture uses thin needles to stimulate these points.
A roller that is sometimes referred to as "needles" is a tool used in acupressure to stimulate specific points on the body. It typically consists of a handle and a roller with small, pointed projections that are designed to apply pressure to specific areas.
In TCM, acupressure is believed to work by promoting the flow of Qi (pronounced "chee"), or life force energy, through the body's meridians. By applying pressure to specific points along these meridians, acupressure is thought to help release tension, promote circulation, and stimulate the body's natural healing processes.
Acupressure rollers are often used to provide self-massage and to treat a variety of conditions, including headaches, back pain, stress, and insomnia. They can be used on various parts of the body, including the hands, feet, and back, and are considered a safe and non-invasive therapy. However, as with any alternative therapy, it is important to consult with a qualified practitioner before using an acupressure roller, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition or are taking medication.
